JSSL Haze Policy

JSSL Haze Policy

JSSL has implemented the following haze policy in line with government guidelines taken from the NEA:

Decisions about games and training sessions will be based primarily on the NEA’s 1-hr PM2.5 reading.

• Trainings will continue up to 100 for the 1 hour PM2.5 reading (on the nea app).
• League Games will be played up to 100 for the 1 hour PM2.5 reading (on the nea app).
• If the 1 hour PM2.5 reading goes over 100 training and League games will be cancelled.
• Readings will be taken from the NEA APP (not the nea website)Parents will be informed in their relevant WhatsApp chat groups if trainings or games are effected by the HAZE.

Ultimately, the JSSL trainings and Leagues are for the benefit and enjoyment of the children and teams. Parents should make their own decision as to whether to train/play based on their children's personal conditions. Children that decide not to train due to Haze conditions can do their make up sessions later in the term.
